Asking infantile questions about the recent events she tries to become a friend of the man. The swans living in the lake are like a joining link between the girl and the man. For the girl it is her toys, her concern and an occupation of everyday. For the tired, hopeless man it is a food and chance to live. But their acquaintance ends tragically: the mans’ bullet accidentally catches the girl when the man has tried to escape from the marsh of the lake. „The Alive Heroes“. This is the last novel which joins all previous novels together and tells about schoolboys in the Soviet period. The boys at their leisure time deliver the telegrams and meet different people – the heroes of everyday life. From the every new meeting they receive the new impressions and the new thoughts for their own future and career. There are many attractive chances around them, but it is very difficult to make the only one and the best choice. The problem which way to choose in their life looks absolutely unsolvable to them.
